DEDICATED TO SUPPLYING PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION THERAPY EQUIPMENT DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC, PATIENT AND MEDICAL EXPERTS TO BETTER SERVE DISABLED CLIENTS.
I’m Jack Bendror, a mechanical engineer and the owner of Mekatronics, Inc. In 2008, I suffered a stroke which left my entire left side paralyzed.I am an inventor fortunate to have an able and dedicated staff with a minimum tenure of 25 years. With the help of our engineers and plant manager, I created devices for my convenience at both my office and home.
The desire for greater independence prompted me to search the web for commercially available devices. As an engineer, I looked for speed and efficiency. The various devices on the market fell short of my needs. That frustration led to the development of the PEDI-ASSIST™ to facilitate putting on shoes. .
Subsequently, Zelik Ziegelbaum, the owner of the physical therapy facility I visit, asked me to design a shoulder exercise wheel and make it into a multi-use apparatus. That is how the JaZ- Ex Wheel, an exerciser for shoulder joints, core and upper and lower extremities came into existence.
Given the assistance these products provided for me, I decided to create PhysioAbilities to share the benefits I receive with others requiring assistance.
PhysioAbilities is based in Port Washington Long Island, New York, where we have our distribution warehouse and offices. We are dedicated to supplying physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and sports therapy equipment direct to the public, patient and professional at affordable prices.
