I. Book Block Feeding, Rounding & Backing, Headband Application, Casing-In.  MEKALINE
Integrates book block feeding, rounding & backing, headband application and casing-in operations. Handles bulk sizes up to 3 inches.
II. Spine Preparation  MEKATWIN
A semi-automatic, self-adjusting machine that integrates the spine milling and notching operations. If desired, the Mekatwin can be used for only spine milling or notching.
III. Leaf Attachment  ULTRABIND PLUS
A semi automatic, self-adjusting machine for binding book blocks of different sizes, thickness and types of paper with no make-ready or set-up. Integrates the spine milling, spine notching, double-fan gluing, notch filling, and back lining operations.
IV. Rounding and Backing  ROUNDER & BACKER
A semi-automatic self-adjusting machine in which the rounding and backing operations are done in sequence. It processes intermixed sizes, thickness and types of paper with no make-ready or set-up. It’s the only machine of its kind in which the path of the backing roller can be adjusted to conform to the curvature of the convex shape of the back formed by the rounding operation.
V. Case Making   MEK-A-CASE
A fully automatic, self-adjusting case-making machine capable of randomly processing intermixed sizes with no set-up.
VI. Building-In   CENTURION
A fully automatic self-adjusting machine for building-in book blocks in edition as well as library binding. Processes book blocks of different sizes, thickness, shape of spine and types of paper with no make-ready or set-up. Can be operated unattended when the casing-in operator feeds the work.
VII. Cover Material Storage, Dispensing & Cutting  EZ-CUT
A fully automatic unattended system that stores up to 96 rolls of cover material in different colors, dispenses and cuts the individual pieces in accordance with data from the bindery automation software PC.

I. Nipping/Smashing  SPEED-NIP
A heavy-duty, horizontal hydraulic press used to compress the swell in the spine of sewn and adhesive bound book blocks.
II. Book Block Measuring  MD-17™(Book Measuring)
A portable, solid-state unit with no moving parts that measures the three dimensions of a book block. Controlled by the proven ABLE™ bindery automation software, it computes, displays and prints all necessary binding parameters.
III. Spine Preparation  MEKANOTCH 
Designed to complement and enhance the adhesive binding technology by cutting notches to increase the spine area for improved linkage between paper and adhesive.
IV. Leaf Attachment  HANDI-BIND
A simple machine that can bind a document in 30 seconds by molding a plastic tube under heat and pressure.
 OVERSEWING™ MACHINE
The dominant method of leaf attachment for the library binding industry for several decades. Produces a flexible strength unequalled by any other sewing process.
 MEKABIND
An entry-level, self-adjusting double-fan adhesive binder using a cold emulsion PVA adhesive.
 MEKASHOOTER
A machine that dispenses, cuts and glues backlining material for application to the spines of bound book blocks.

A semi-automatic, self-adjusting machine that simultaneously applies headbands to the head and tail of book blocks of different sizes and thickness with no make-ready or set-up.
VII. Case Making   MIGHTY CUT™
A heavy duty, pneumatic cutter capable of cutting simultaneously two pieces of binders board.
  GLUING MACHINES
Gluing machines – using cold emulsion and hot protein adhesives – are available in various sizes.
  LOTEK™ CASE-MAKING GAUGE
Operator skill to visually assemble the boards and spine inlay onto a glued cover material is eliminated by the use of this simple and easy-to-operate fixture.
  LOTEK™ CORD CUTTER
An optional companion to the LOTEK™ CASE-MAKING GAUGE that will simultaneously cut and dispense two pieces of head and tail cords to the inlay width.
  4-STEP™ (Turning-In)
An entry-level turning-in machine used to accurately turn-in the edges of a case one edge at a time.
  ROLL-IN
An entry-level turning-in machine that increases productivity over conventional methods by turning-in two edges of the case simultaneously
  ROTARY PRESSES
Rotary presses for pressing the finished case are available in various sizes.

X. Hot Foil Cover Lettering  GEM
Each individual engraved type piece of this computerized, hot-foil cover-lettering machine is struck with enough force to penetrate standard cover materials. The result is a superior quality of finished product which makes this machine the choice of many quality-conscious binders.
