Thumb indexing utilizing gold-stamped labels mounted into the desired position is more labor intensive but aesthetically much more pleasing. Such machines such as the MEKAINDEX™ are in existence but expensive for short runs. The need for a simple manual thumb index cutter prompted the design of the MANODEX™ based on the design of a rare unit displayed in our museum…an affordable tool that enables you to diversify your product line for increased profitability.
